WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS POLICY

Thank you for choosing Mia Bridal Couture for your wedding dress alterations. My commitment is to ensure that your gown fits you beautifully and makes you feel confident on your special day. For clarity and transparency, please review the policy below:

1. Initial Consultation and Fitting

During your initial consultation, I will assess your dress and discuss the necessary alterations required to achieve the perfect fit. A detailed estimate of the recommended alterations and associated costs will be provided at this time.

2. Proper Footwear and Undergarment Requirement

To ensure accurate hem length and fit, the bride must bring the original wedding shoes and the exact undergarments (bra, pads, shapewear, etc.) that will be worn on the wedding day. If different shoes or undergarments are used after alterations are completed, I am not responsible for discrepancies in fit or length.

3. Standard Alterations

The initial quote will cover standard alterations discussed during the consultation. These typically include hemming, basic resizing, strap adjustments, train work, veil details, and general fitting adjustments.

4. Additional Alterations

If additional alterations, adjustments, or the creation of new design elements are requested beyond the original agreement, additional charges will apply. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Adding or removing embellishments

• Structural modifications

• Major resizing

• Restyling or redesigning elements of the gown

5. Custom Design Modifications & Approval

Any custom changes will be fully discussed prior to proceeding. A revised estimate will be provided for approval, and work will begin only after consent is given. Please communicate any new requests as early as possible.

6. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of drop-off to secure your booking.

• The remaining 50% balance is due at the final pickup of your gown.

• Payments are accepted via Cash, Zelle, or Venmo.

• A separate invoice will be issued for any additional alterations not included in the original agreement.

• All additional services must be paid in full upon completion.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

If alterations are canceled after approval and work has already begun, charges for completed work will still apply. Refunds are not available for completed services.
